About

The majority of activities associated with Cricklade Garden Club have been temporarily suspended following Government guidelines to keep our members safe.  All guest speakers for our evening meetings have been postponed until further notice. Occassional adhoc outings to local gardens are being organised where people can travel independently in cars. Members will be contacted directly about these opportunities when they come up to determine interest.

Below are details about the club for when our normal service resumes:

Cricklade Garden Club is in its 31st year. We meet on the second Tuesday of the month at Cricklade Town Hall Annexe. Talks start at 7.30pm but if you arrive at 7pm you will be able to sample delicious home-made refreshments, a raffle every-so-often and chat to other members. We have an information board, seeds to swap  and often there are locally grown plants for sale. Talks are on a variety of gardening themed topics and last about an hour with time for questions after.

We do not meet in January, February or August but arrange trips to gardens, shows and nurseries throughout the year.

Subscription fees are £16 per person for the year or £3 per meeting for non-members. Members have priority on outings!  A discount is offered to Members at certain garden centres when they show their current Membership card. These are Greatfield Nurseries, The Walled Garden at Brinkworth, Malmesbury Garden Centre and Burford Garden Company.

The Garden Club is often confused with Cricklade Bloomers – although there are several members in both we are two separate groups. For more information about Cricklade Bloomers go to www.crickladeinbloom.co.uk
